During a mountain hike in 1982, Primo Levi rediscovers himself and spends time in a mountain hut with a stranger: a mysterious man who does not know him or his history. During the hours the two men spend together, Primo Levi feels the need to re-examine his tragic life experience. He tells the man everything: from his arrest as a member of the Italian anti-fascist resistance during World War II to his imprisonment in the Auschwitz concentration camp.
