Que Dieu Te Protège plot

Filmmaker Cléo Cohen examines her identity as the granddaughter of Jewish Arabs who once emigrated to France from Tunisia and Algeria. In an intimate setting, Cohen questions her four grandparents about the course of their lives in front of her camera. Do they feel more connected to Judaism or to their Arab background? How do they feel about their current homeland, ex-colonizer France? Do they feel African or European? And how do they hope that their offspring will shape their own identity?
