Presenting Princess Shaw plot

Single nurse Samantha lives in one of New Orleans' rougher neighborhoods and tries to break through under the stage name Princess Shaw. Samantha uses YouTube not only for uploading her self-written songs but also as a candid video diary. Director Ido Haar mixes scenes where he follows her attempts to make it in her hometown of New Orleans music scene with those where Kutiman watches her clips in his house on the kibbutz and works on the Thru You video with her song sung a cappella . Samantha cannot possibly imagine that on the other side of the world there is someone who believes in her and recognizes her talent in the original songs she makes. And who, moreover, is about to expand her audience to proportions that she does not even dare to dream of.
