Premières Armes plot

While undergoing 12 weeks of intensive training, a group of young civilians is gradually molded into soldiers. Basic training, a requirement for joining the Canadian Forces, becomes the gateway to exploring the inner workings of a world governed by its own rules and values. Avoiding a judgmental approach, this documentary observes the process by which candidates are trained and integrated into the military.
