Please Remember Me plot

Lou, 88, a former school principal, has been suffering from Alzheimer's disease for ten years and no longer recognizes anyone except her husband Feng. Nevertheless, the couple lead a happy and rich life together in Shanghai: they practice tai chi every morning, regularly visit the Beijing opera and read poems to each other. When Feng himself becomes ill, he decides to move to a retirement home with his wife. Certainly because he is almost completely alone in his care: their only son lives in Australia and only visits sporadically.
