Piter plot

PITER, a title that refers to the pet name of many residents for their city of Saint Petersburg, is a portrait of present-day Saint Petersburg and seven of its inhabitants. As we follow the characters' daily lives, we enter the shadowy world of revolution and war, the gray Brezhnev years after and the contrasting reality of today. How much control do you have over your life when history holds you in its grip? Fifteen years after perestroika, it is time to take stock.
