Nicht ohne Meine Tiere plot

In his documentary, filmmaker Volker Meyer-Dabisch accompanies Claudia, Christina, Thomas and Viola, four survivors of their own drug addiction. With great candor, they talk about the great losses they have suffered and the inner struggles they face every day. Often, it was their animals that gave them new strength in their darkest moments and that protected them from giving up on themselves or relapsing again. Their moving stories are supplemented by insights from experts who explain the special influence of animals on the mental health and resilience of those affected.
