New Orleans in de Polder plot
Landscape architect Adriaan Geuze is saddened by the abandonment of the Green Heart; it is in danger of succumbing to the ambitions of aldermen and project developers. Geuze investigates the history of spatial planning in the Netherlands and he wonders, for example, why, while delegations from New Orleans come to admire our waterworks, we are building a second Zoetermeer on the Zuidplaspolder, the deepest point in Europe.
