Neuland plot
The Swiss director Anna Tomen, with the collaboration of the teacher Christian Zingg, dedicates her documentary to the so-called integration and the accompanying vocational education in their native city of Basel. The latter ensures that young immigrants who have recently arrived in Switzerland receive the necessary support in their new environment. Like his colleagues, Zingg's job is to help young people leave their past behind, introduce them to a new culture and language and prepare them for a possible new career. But the dedicated Zingg knows they don't have it easy and need constant motivation.
