Nadia plot

The film follows Nadia Nadim, born and raised in Afghanistan, until the Taliban executed her father in 2000 when she was only 12 years old. Thus began the two-year exile of Nadia's mother. She herself flew to Rome under false identities, traveled hidden in trucks and eventually started a new life in Denmark. That's where Nadia started her football career in 2012. She went to Paris Saint Germain in 2018. Now Nadia wants to return to Afghanistan to reminisce about her father. But with the greater terrorist threat, she is discouraged by her mother. Meanwhile, she meets Afghan refugees in Paris who may be forced to return to their homeland.
