Mr. Gaga plot
"Into the mind of Ohad Naharin"
Ode to the Israeli choreographer Ohad Naharin, who has made a major contribution to the development of modern dance in recent decades with his own movement language (Gaga) and idiosyncratic choreography views. It was only after they had known each other for twenty years that Heymann was allowed to attend rehearsals at the Batsheva Dance Company, where Naharin has been a choreographer and artistic director since 1990. He interviews Naharin's relatives, colleagues and dancers from his company. The enormous talent of Naharin, who surprisingly only started serious dance training at the age of twenty-two, resulted in brief associations with a number of renowned companies, but only reached full maturity when he developed his choreographic side.
