Mitgift - Ostdeutschland im Wandel plot

In this documentary, director Roland Blum focuses on the tensions surrounding the environment during and after German reunification. In total, he makes three major trips to the new federal states: in 1989, 2000 and 2013. In doing so, he visits those places that dominated him and his life and shows the viewer the changes brought about by time. For example, he takes a look at the Lubmin nuclear power plant, which was closed in 1990, but still poses a danger because radioactivity only completely disappears after 50 years.
