Medea, un Maggio di Pietro Frediani plot

In the village of Buti, between the mountains of Monte Pisano, a constant memory of a genre of theater called 'maggio' (May) is passed on from generation to generation through oral transmission. It has been virtually extinct since about 1952, the year of the death of one of its last directors, Angiolo Bernardini. With the help of handwritten notes on scripts and actors from the past, the elderly want to try to breathe new life into a play based on the play 'Medea'.
