'Mayor' is a political saga about Musa Hadid, the Christian mayor of Ramallah, during his second term in office. His immediate goals are to restore the sidewalks, attract more tourism and plan the city's Christmas celebrations. His ultimate mission is to end the occupation of Palestine. This documentary is a portrait of dignity in the midst of the madness and absurdity of an endless occupation, asking the question: how do you run a city if you have no land?
