Mansfield 66/67 plot
"a true story based on rumour and hearsay"
In 2017 it will be fifty years since actress and sex symbol Jayne Mansfield died in a freak car accident. The makers of Mansfield 66/67 choose to deliberately highlight all kinds of conflicting visions of the 'blonde bombshell'. Was Mansfield, who had to compete with Marilyn Monroe in the 1950s, a living cartoon, a camp character, or was she gifted and gifted with talents other than her big bosom, which movie titles like Kiss Them for Me quasi-humorously refer to? And was her death the result of a flirtation with the Church of Satan or sheer bad luck?
