Malqueridas plot

The documentary Malqueridas by Tana Gilbert shows the collective memory of a Chilean women's prison. Here, female prisoners are locked up with long sentences. Some of them have to raise children before they leave prison at the age of two. Twenty mothers report on their lives as prisoners, which fluctuate between hope and powerlessness, using photos and videos.
