Maddenin Halleri plot

The professor briskly steps through the old Cerrahpaşa University Hospital in Istanbul. She stops at a patient. After exchanging medical data professionally, she asks the old woman on the bed with interest which book she is reading. The professor picks it up and reads a love poem from it. An unexpected contrast in Deniz Tortum's depiction of the parallel world of doctors and other workers in the hospital where he himself was born and his father is a doctor.
