Lydia Lunch - The War Is Never Over plot

In this documentary contemporary and fellow underground heroine Beth B pays a fitting tribute to a tireless, combative and humorous woman, who had to fight her demons from an early age. A damaged sixteen-year-old, Lunch arrived in New York, where she formed the band Teenage Jesus and the Jerks. In her spoken word piece Daddy Dearest she made her childhood traumas public in 1984 and called for breaking the cycle of violence and abuse – a message that is as topical as ever.
