The latter was going through a rough patch, wondering how Douglas coped with his struggle when he wanted to give up everything. Set over a single night in Nashville, Douglas honestly and personally peels back the curtain on the creative process in this documentary. He reveals his own past hardships and the struggles of the creative enterprise as he sings his own versions of the beloved songs he wrote in one of Nashville's most historic and remarkable locations.
