Love Hotel plot

Intimate look behind the front door of a Love hotel. For many, this unique part of Japanese society is a way out of the daily grind of long working days and small apartments. But problems surrounding prostitution, abuse and organized crime are never far away. However, documentary makers Phil Cox & Hikaru Toda mainly portray it as an oasis of freedom and relaxation. Among the clients they managed to lure on camera are a gay couple, a businessman with a penchant for SM, and an older couple who meet every once in a while to dance.
