Life Will Give You Pictures plot

Photographer Herman Selleslags wanders through his past, which is piled up in his house in the form of a gigantic and chaotic archive. He also encounters photographic work by his father Rik and his son Jan. The iconic collection tells the story of a special photographer who has managed to sketch a musical and social picture of the times of over 70 years. But the walls of the house also hide a complex, double father-son relationship that keeps this family of photographers in its grip.
