Licht plot

The opera 'aus LICHT' by Karlheinz Stockhausen, one of the most important composers of the last century, has been regarded as impracticable to this day. Until Dutch National Opera, Holland Festival and The Royal Conservatoire joined forces to perform Stockhausen's magnum opus. Director Oeke Hoogendijk followed the process up to the world premiere at the Holland Festival and records in his own way how these parties are implementing this ambitious project.
