Les Plus Grands Peintres du Monde: Paul Gauguin plot

Paul Gauguin was a Post-Impressionist painter in the 19th century, known as one of the best in his art. After quitting his job at the stock exchange, he decided to move to Rouen, where Camille Pissarro introduced him to the Impressionist movement. There he painted nearly 40 paintings representing his new city. Unable to live off his passion, he decided to go to Tahiti in 1891, where he further developed his work. He is also one of the forerunners of the primitivism technique that inspired some great painters such as Picasso. He died suddenly in 1903 after losing three of his four children.
