Lemebel plot
Documentary about the Chilean writer and artist Pedro Lemebel (1952-2015), one of the most famous contemporary Latin American artists. He became known in the 1980s during the military rule of dictator Pinochet for his controversial lyrics and performances on themes such as homosexuality and human rights. His own body, fire and blood formed important and often shocking elements in his work. For example, the artist once rolled over burning steps in front of the museum of contemporary art in Santiago, wrapped in a bag.
