Leaving, Returning plot

Filmmaker Claude Nassar left Lebanon at a time when the crisis was getting worse and started building a new life in Western Europe. In the meantime, he tries to keep abreast of events in his home country through online media. With an associative assemblage of personal visual material, archived commercials, images from social media and a multifaceted soundscape, 'Leaving, Returning' explores Nassar's reality in a non-linear way: physically in the West, digitally in Lebanon.
