La Véritable Histoire du Radeau de la Méduse plot

Documentary about the infamous shipwreck of the French frigate Medusa in July 1816 in the Atlantic Ocean just off the west coast of Africa and the creation of the painting The Raft of the Medusa. The Machine, that was the name initially given to the raft of the Medusa, by those in charge of building and launching this makeshift rescue device. One hundred and forty-nine persons embarked voluntarily or forcibly; only seven would survive.
