La Terre Abandonnée plot

At a deserted intersection in the evacuated zone around the Fukushima nuclear power plant, the traffic lights are red. There's something surreal about it. In the houses of the few who have returned, everything seems normal: there is water from the tap, there is electricity, even the television works. An elderly couple eats carefree from their own vegetable garden, but another couple does not take a step without first measuring the radioactive radiation. They exchanged their large, comfortable house for a small, stuffy apartment.
