La Reina plot

It's carnival, somewhere in a village in Argentina. Memi, about eleven years old, is preparing to become queen of the carnival. A sparkling honor with costumes, glitter and a crazy headdress. “The crown is huge, weighs four kilos and is trimmed with crystals and amethysts,” Memi's mother proudly reports. While she and her friends lose their heads in the excitement, Memi's is spinning with excitement.
