La Madrugá plot

In the south of Spain, in the Andalusian city of Jerez de la Frontera, Holy Week is celebrated at the beginning of every spring. Tradition, memory and folklore walk the streets on the shoulders of a people who proudly display a heritage that has been rooted in their culture for centuries. Director Alejandro Cano documents the daily routine of the days leading up to the celebration and its organization.
