La Extensión plot

Bubbles in the water that pop or fuse. A flock of birds flying frantically up and down as menacing clouds approach the camera like an avalanche. Zoomed in details and expansive images frequently alternate in this experimental nature documentary – as well as (very) short and long scenes. From a grasshopper jumping away in seconds to a minute-long shot of sand drifting on a country road. The tranquil images show the rugged landscape of the Argentine province of La Pampa, located in the center of the country. The first word is not spoken until halfway through the film. While a man talks about God, the screen is black.
