L'Heure H: Lady Di Est Morte plot

On August 31, 1997, the world awoke to the shocking news that Britain's Princess Diana was killed in a serious traffic accident in Paris. The black Mercedes in which Diana, her boyfriend Dodi Al-Fayed and their bodyguard Trevor Rees-Jones drove to Dodi's apartment ran off the road in a tunnel and crashed into a concrete pillar. Driver Henri Paul and Dodi did not survive the blow, Diana was seriously injured and transferred to the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital, where she died a few hours later from her injuries. Rees-Jones was the only one to survive the accident. After Diana's death, the wildest conspiracy theories circulated, and the finger of blame was also pointed at the paparazzi chasing the Mercedes.
