Kombinat plot

In the heart of Russia is a city dominated by one of the largest iron and steel factories in the country, Kombinat. A desolate landscape of chimneys and ovens, fire and smoke. The factory dominates the lives of the inhabitants, all looking for their own ways of escape. For example, Lena gives salsa lessons and Sacha loses herself in dance. Together with his wife and disabled child, Guenia tries to leave the city for good. This documentary shows how the lives of the three families have been forever marked by the iron industry and its trail of pollution.
