Kalte Heimat plot

This documentary paints a picture of the northern part of East Prussia, through various personal stories and drawn-out images of the empty landscape. This barren, barren region on the Baltic Sea between Lithuania and Poland was placed under Soviet rule in 1945. In the Russian enclave, different nationalities live side by side - Germans, Russians, Lithuanians, Poles - in relative harmony.
