Jolene plot

Jolene is a woman who earns her living working behind the bar at a strip club, who football hooligans call her family, and who has made choices that still haunt her. But she has a plan. Director Elza Jo van Reenen embarked on a three-year adventure with Jolene and followed the rollercoaster of Jolene's life closely. The result is an intimate portrait of an adrenaline junkie who - despite everything - chooses not to destroy herself, but to follow her dream.
