Jesse's Strijd plot

After the Russian invasion, Ukraine quickly established the International Legion. Volunteers from all over the world signed up, including Dutch volunteers. But their stories have rarely been told. Sinan Can follows the trail of Jesse, who joined the Ukrainian armed forces shortly after the invasion. Why did he leave the Netherlands behind? What drives someone to volunteer for a war? And what consequences does that decision have for the people he left behind?
