Inside Prora plot

On the island of Rügen in the Baltic Sea lies one of the most megalomaniac projects built by the Nazis. The “Monster aan Zee”, a kilometre-long concrete colossus, built as a futuristic holiday destination for the inhabitants of the Third Reich. A prime example of 'guilty architecture'. Subsequently used by the communist regime and since the fall of the wall for decades it has been a prey for project developers who have bitten their teeth.
