In the Shadow of the Light plot

In fact, Jonas Mekas, who has been called the godfather of avant-garde cinema, hates the documentary because, according to him, the genre pretends to reveal everything about a subject. Yet the eighty-five-year-old allows himself to be filmed without any problems in the dusty Anthology Film Archives in New York, which he founded in 1970. The stuffed warehouse is a fantastic treasure trove for lovers of experimental film.
