Talking about your feelings is unusual for staff in Dutch hospitals. Due to the worldwide corona crisis, many healthcare workers are confronted with death for the first time in their careers and on a large scale. They are unprepared for the powerlessness that this entails and the previously 'unbreakable' and rational care workers are confronted with their own vulnerability as human beings. What happens when they have the opportunity to talk about how they are emotionally affected by their work?
