In Another Life plot

Their names are Innocent, Etu and Assouman. They are the three survivors of a group of street children in Burundi whom Philippe de Pierpont met by chance one day in 1991. A friendship develops between the director and them. They make the heartfelt and bold promise to continue meeting to make this film together. After Pierpont filmed them as children, teenagers and young adults, it is now time for a new reunion. They are now 40 years old and stuck in a lifetime of suffering.
