The Danube is not only a lifeline in the landscape of Europe, but also a connector of cultures and a bridge between past, present and future. In this short documentary we follow the journey of the Danube: from the Black Forest to the Black Sea, from small stream to mighty river. Along the way he meets man, sometimes as a friend and sometimes as an enemy.
