I Rollerna Tre plot

"The art of playing yourself"

Swedish actresses Harriet Andersson, Gunnel Lindblom and Bibi Andersson spend a few days in the Provencal home of the late Mai Zetterling. The latter was the actress and director for whom they worked together three decades earlier in "The Girls". The three discuss Zetterling, their lives and careers, Ingmar Bergman, the consequences of aging, motherhood, etc... In between there are clips from Zetterling's film.
