I Am an Animal: The Story of Ingrid Newkirk and PETA plot
A look into the life of the co-founder and driving force behind PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), the world's largest animal rights organization. Ingrid Newkirk and her supporters are driven by the belief that humanity should not use animals for any reason. Food, clothing, medical experiments or entertainment. Newkirk publicly admits that an AIDS drug isn't important enough to take the life of a single monkey. She hopes mad cow disease will tear the country apart. What drives Newkirk? How does she see her future?
