Horungen plot
As a child, Knutte Wester often visited his grandmother Hervor. She told him stories; not about princes or princesses, but about her own turbulent and not always easy life. Her descriptions were so vivid that he could picture them in his mind—images that he turned into watercolors years later. In a mixture of art and documentary, he (re)tells the story of his grandmother in animations that he made from his watercolor paintings. Hervor tells how she was born out of wedlock and was placed by her mother out of poverty with various families and orphanages.
