"Culture is no excuse for abuse."

'Honor Diaries' tells the story of nine inspiring women's rights advocates in Muslim societies who struggle against oppression, forced marriage and more. Having witnessed the hardships experienced by women themselves, these women seek to change society, both in their communities and beyond. Freedom of movement, the right to education, forced marriage and female genital mutilation are some of the systematic abuses discussed.
