Homelands plot

When the civil war in El Salvador ended in 1992, Carlos and Maria Robles faced a difficult dilemma. Seven years earlier they had fled to Australia with their four daughters. They had built up a new life there in Melbourne. Maria, in particular, had blossomed after the hardships she had endured in the resistance. For Carlos it was much more difficult to adapt to the new circumstances.
