Het Vergeten Getto plot

This documentary tells of an unknown Amsterdam history: the Asterdorp ghetto in Amsterdam-North, where from 1942 more than three hundred Jewish persecuted were housed. Documentary maker Saskia van den Heuvel went in search of the story behind this forgotten moment in the history of the Holocaust and spoke with the few survivors. The children and teenagers of that time tell their stories about occupation and persecution, and what happened in their lives after the war.
