What happens behind the closed doors of the court, how do judges reach their verdict and how are you trained to do so? After a strict selection process, Leiden lawyer Ouafae Bahi was admitted to the six-year Raio (Judicial Officer in Training) course. The documentary follows Ouafae behind the scenes during her first internship as a registrar in the criminal sector at the Zwolle District Court and her training at the training center in Zutphen. How does Ouafae deal with the traditional manners in the world of justice? Does her opinion count in complex criminal cases and moral dilemmas in the courtroom? The consequences of a decision weigh heavily, there is deliberation and weighting, but ultimately judges reach a legal verdict. Is Ouafae holding up and how will she be assessed after the first six months?
