Her Aim Is True plot
Innovative and distinctly artistic were the black-and-white photographs taken by self-taught Jini Dellaccio in the mid-1960s of bands such as The Wailers, The Sonics and Neil Young. A neat lady in her forties, she seemed an unlikely candidate for the role of favorite rock photographer that would come to her in the years to come. Jini Dellaccio didn't have the rockers she photographed in the 1960s pose stiffly in a studio, but took them outside. There, on the coast of Northern California, she had them climb trees or pose against a backdrop of sculpture or avant-garde architecture.
