Happy Valley plot

State College, home to Penn State University, is more commonly known as Happy Valley. Or, rather, stood. Coach Joe Paterno led the football team there for forty years. His training program was widely acclaimed for its success on and off the field. But then everything collapses. In November 2011, the coach was charged with forty allegations of child abuse. The city lost its cheerful nickname.
