Han Da Han plot

The Evenks live in the forests and mountains of northeast China, a nomadic people who came from Siberia 300 years ago and are now one of 56 officially recognized ethnic groups in China. They live from hunting and breeding reindeer. In 2003, the Evenks were forced to move from the forest to a new shelter built for them by the government. Weijia is one of them. He was a hunter all his life. Now his land is gone, his shotguns taken, and his way of life is on the brink of extinction. Now that he can no longer hunt, Weijia spends his days drinking and musing on the old days.
